On May 16, 2020, Utah County Health Department altered the previous executive order to “Level Yellow” in harmony with Governor Gary Herbert’s statewide plan to reopen Utah Businesses. Accordingly, The Food & Care Coalition will return to normal business operations with the following conditions placed upon our visiting guests, residential guests, volunteers, staff and accompanying service partners.
ALL PERSONS: Should maintain social distancing of 6’ or more from non-related persons; wash hands frequently; and do not come onsite if you are sick (cough, fever, loss of taste/smell, etc.).
VISITING CLIENTS: On May 20th, we will resume providing breakfast meals and all other services will return to normal operations. However, guests are required to wear masks and are mandated to maintain 6’ of social distancing from anyone other than family members. Guests will be allowed to eat onsite with meals served either inside our building or in our back yard following social distancing protocol. We are still encouraging all clients to restrict their time at our location to our posted meal times and for scheduled appointments.
RESIDENTIAL STAY CLIENTS: All residential stay clients are required to wear a mask inside our building when seeking services or in our common areas which includes all visits with case managers, agency staff, and onsite or visiting partners. You are free to remove your masks when in your personal rooms. It is recommended that you wash your hands regularly or when you touch common surfaces touched by others. We will continue to follow an aggressive sanitization protocol throughout our facility.
VOLUNTEERS: All volunteers are required to wear both gloves and masks when onsite. Currently our volunteer limits are set to 10 persons per shift and will relax further as directives allow. No one who is showing signs of sickness are allowed on the premises.
STAFF: All staff are required to wear masks in any common areas (exceptions being their offices with no others present), to have their temperature taken upon arrival for their shifts (and reporting this to our operations manager), and to wash hands frequently. Anyone who is sick or have Covid-19 symptoms are not permitted onsite.
