Each year I am both humbled and amazed by the compassion, thoughtfulness and generosity of our community. This is never more evident than during the holiday season when so many reach out to us on a daily basis. Although we can’t fulfill all of the volunteer requests during the holidays, we do our best to match the needs of our clients with the community’s desire to assist.
This year we received a matching gift opportunity from a local foundation. All donations from December 1st through January 31st will be matched – up to $350,000. If successful, our annual budget needs for 2017 will start off on solid footing. All donations – large or small – will greatly help. We encourage all to consider donating during this time period according to your ability as there is great power in leveraging resources for the betterment of our homeless community.
