© 2020 Food & Care Coalition.
Pursuant to Utah Code 26A-1-114, and effective at 11:00pm (MDT) on March 18, 2020, the Utah County Health Department has prohibited any gathering of more than 10 individuals. Additionally, any food service establishment, including the Food & Care Coalition, is prohibited from allowing any “dine in” services.
The Coalition has suspended breakfast services but will continue to provide lunch and dinner meals moving forward. As a result of the executive order, only “to go” meals will be offered. Weather permitting, meals will be distributed as you come on property. In inclement weather, you will be allowed to briefly enter our facility, pick up your meal, and leave our premises. As a polite reminder, congregating and loitering on Coalition or neighboring properties is prohibited and we appreciate our patron’s compliance with this request. Lastly, please be courteous and dispose of garbage in designated trash receptacles.
Services at the Coalition have been adjusted as follows in response to COVID-19 and will be kept up to date here as changes are made:
Meals: Breakfast suspended. Lunch and Dinner provided as a “To Go” meal with no dine-in services offered.
Showers & Laundry: Are by appointment only. We are encouraging patrons to call in as opposed to making appointments in person (801.373.1825).
Hygiene & Mail: These services are available for pickup but would prefer patrons to avoid meal times as we are not permitted to have more than 10 persons congregating in our building at any given time. We will ask patrons to strictly adhere to social distancing guidelines (no closer than 6′ from other persons).
Housing Applications / Rental Assistance: The Coalition continues to operate our transitional housing program. Interested persons may call in to inquire about completing an intake and application. Brenda, Mariah, and Ruth will keep applicants informed of their status. You may contact them by calling and leaving a message at 801.373.1825 ext. 432 or ext.435.
Medical Clinic: Operated by Mountainlands Community Health Center, the clinic remains open. However, patrons will be required to undergo a temperature screening upon arrival. Patrons are encouraged to phone in and schedule an appointment by calling 801.373.1825 ext. 402.
Other Services: For any services not listed, please contact us at 801.373.1825.
We look forward to the time when normal services can resume. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time and may God Bless!
