Culture of Caring Program

The Culture of Caring program was established to forge partnerships with local businesses to create a mutually beneficial exchange of value.

About Us

The Food & Care Coalition (FACC) stands as Utah County’s sole comprehensive resource center dedicated to addressing homelessness and poverty. Our mission is to provide not just immediate relief but also long-term support and empowerment. We focus on creating a holistic support system that addresses the varied needs of our patrons, from basic necessities to personalized services that foster self-sufficiency and dignity. Our unique approach integrates multiple services under one roof, ensuring that those we serve receive comprehensive care in a safe and supportive environment.

At FACC, our service priority is to ensure that every individual who walks through our doors receives the support they need to improve their situation and move towards self-sufficiency. We prioritize:

  • Immediate Needs: Providing nutritious meals, 7 days a week, averaging nearly100,000 meals annually, and assessing additional needs for services.
  • Health and Well-being: Offering medical and dental services, mental health support, and personal hygiene facilities to promote overall health.
  • Personal Development: Providing financial mentoring, employment assistance, and life skills training to empower individuals for long-term success.
  • Stable Housing: Offering 38 transitional housing units and 72, one-bedroom furnished apartments to support achieving housing stability.

We host an annual recognition event to celebrate and honor the contributions of our partners. This event includes:

  • Recognition Awards: Acknowledging outstanding contributions and support.
  • Impact Presentations: Sharing the successes and stories made possible through the partnership.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connecting with other businesses and community leaders who are making a difference.
  • Celebratory Activities: Enjoying a night of celebration and reflection on the positive impact of collective efforts.

What we need from YOU

Make a Donation: Consider a one-time, annual, or recurring donation to support our mission. We leave it to each business to decide on whether they would like their employees to participate, and we also understand that your ability to give may vary year-to-year, which is why we don’t establish a set amount. Our endowment covers all of our administrative costs, but our program expenses require an average of $1,500,000 annually to function.
